About
Tucked away in the heart of the Scottish countryside, just a short drive from Glasgow and Stirling, The Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort offers a tranquil escape with panoramic views of the Kilsyth and Campsie Hills.
Combining elegant accommodation, top-tier leisure facilities, and a renowned golf course, it’s a superb destination for your next Scottish golf break.
Golf courses
Westerwood Golf Course is a celebrated layout co-designed by the legendary Seve Ballesteros and Dave Thomas. Spanning 6,307 yards and playing to a par of 72, the course weaves through mature woodlands and rolling terrain, offering a distinctive challenge framed by Scotland’s dramatic landscapes.
The course’s signature hole, the par-3 15th known as “The Waterfall Hole,” requires a precise shot across a steep ravine to reach the green - one of the most memorable tee shots in the region.
Accommodation
The hotel’s 148 rooms offer a stylish and welcoming retreat after a day on the course. Designed with comfort in mind, each room features modern décor, plush beds, flat-screen TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Many rooms offer scenic views over the golf course or surrounding hills, reinforcing the peaceful atmosphere.
For those seeking a little more luxury, upgraded rooms provide extra space, premium bedding, and enhanced amenities - perfect for a couples’ golf holiday or for guests staying for multiple nights.
