The Lakes Course at Belton Woods is a good test of golf. You really do need your a-game on a Belton Woods golf break. With many water hazards covering the approach to greens you need to plot your way around this course to keep a good score (and a large supply of golf balls!). At 600 yards, the 9th hole over water is one of the longest in Europe. A par here is a great score.
The Woodside course is a par 73 course and as the name suggests runs along beautiful woodlands. Slightly shorter than the Lakes the Woodside course is not to be under estimated.
You can also hone your skills on the shorter 9 hole Red Arrows Academy Course too. With holes ranging from 92 to 186 yards this is a great beginner’s course.
Stantons Brasserie offers a great carvery dinner, or in the evenings an a la Carte menu. For a more relaxed atmosphere why not visit the Claret Jug bar and enjoy watching other golfers try negotiate the tricky 18th.
The spa will be undergoing a £300k refurbishment which commenced on the 23rd May and promises to offer a great experience once finished.
