Aside from its many water hazards, the course offers a variety of hole difficulty designed to challenge more experienced golfers but also provide some support for those with higher handicaps, giving you some very makeable par 5s. Amarilla Golf at the Golf Del Sur resort is a Championship standard course made famous when it hosted the Tenerife Open. The 5^th at Amarilla is arguably the most unique hole you can experience as a golfer in Tenerife. It has no fairway. Instead, golfers tackling this challenge must hit their ball across an area of sea to ensure they reach the green. Aside from this ultimate golfing challenge, the course offers stunning coastal views of the Atlantic Ocean and high quality fairways and greens.
