There are 72 two bedrooms apartments and 73 three bedroom apartments spread across ten blocks that surround the large outdoor swimming pool. Each of the apartments include a private balcony, many of which offer great views of the surrounding golf course, as well as living area with flat screen television, kitchenette and private bathroom.
Facilities at this resort include an on-site restaurant, Piazza Restaurant, which is a great place for a light meal or beer after golf before heading to the Marina for evening entertainment. If it’s just a cocktail on-site before an early night, then you can reminisce about your birdie putt in the Tikki Bar. For those with extra calories to burn there is a gymnasium and indoor swimming pool so you can relax away from the fairways.
Golf is provided on three of the Dom Pedro courses which surround Vilamoura. Victoria covers 90 hectares and is a Par 72 Championship course which stretches 7,273 yards. This is one of the jewels of Algarve in terms of golf courses and should be on any bucket list if visiting this region!
Dom Pedro Pinhal golf course is one of the region’s best value rounds. A favourite here in the office as it doesn’t command the green fee some of the more high profile courses, yet still offering an exceptional experience. Having opened in 1976 and re-developed by Robert Trent Jones Sr in 1985, this has matured beautifully.
